Outcome

We were engaged by Defence as the Technical Advisor (Auditor) for the 3-year Regional Contamination Investigation Program across New South Wales, South Australia, and Queensland. The program involved an Auditor review of the consultant’s reports for broad contaminant investigations, and it involved the provision of technical advice regarding remediation design across the following sites:

  • New South Wales: HMAS Albatross, Kapooka Military Area (Blamey Barracks), RAAF Base Williamtown, Beecroft Weapons Range and Peninsula (Point Perpendicular), HMAS Creswell, RAAF Base Wagga, and Defence Establishment Orchard Hills.
  • Queensland: RAAF Base Amberley, Shoalwater Bay Training Area, and Gallipoli Barracks (Enoggera)
  • South Australia: Joint Defence Facility Nurrungar, Port Wakefield Proof and Experimental Establishment, RAAF Base Edinburgh, Keswick Barracks, Woodside Barracks, St. Kilda Transmitting Station, Cultana Training Area, Warradale Barracks, and Woomera Range Complex, which includes the Woomera Prohibited Area
