Technical Advisory Services; PFAS Investigation, Management, and Remediation
Outcome
Our accredited Contaminated Land Auditors have been engaged by the Department of Defence since 2017 to provide Technical Advisor services supporting the investigation, management, and remediation of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) for multiple New South Wales Defence facilities, including HMAS Albatross, HMAS Creswell, Jervis Bay Range Facility, Holsworthy Barracks, and Singleton Military Area, which includes Lone Pine Barracks and the Singleton Training Area. Our role as Technical Advisor has been to complete all works in accordance with relevant state-based and national guidance and to identify value-for-money efficiencies for Defence where alternative approaches could be adopted whilst still achieving the necessary objectives and management and remedial outcomes.
