JBS&G, a Geosyntec Company, was engaged by Rise Renewables to project manage the delivery of a Development Application for a proposed pumped hydro and solar project in South Australia's mid-north region, 40 kilometre north-east of Port Pirie. The Rise Renewables Project will combine a pumped hydro scheme with a commercial-scale solar farm, delivering an overall low-carbon energy supply to the market, and a reliable energy source that will underpin a more secure South Australian power network.
Our team managed all necessary impact assessment studies and worked closely with Rise Renewables in government negotiations and provision of strategic advice. We provided a structured approach to strategy, planning, and delivery of stakeholder and community engagement to secure acceptance and support for the project.
