JBS&G, a Geosyntec Company, was engaged to provide services as a Victorian Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-accredited Environmental Auditor for the residential redevelopment of various stages of a former cement manufacturing facility in Fyansford, Victoria. The site comprises approximately 50 hectares in area, and investigations identified a variety of contaminants in both soils and groundwater associated with historical manufacturing activities. The Auditor completed 53X Environmental Audits for eight stages of the development to meet the timing requirements of the client, with all stages deemed suitable for the proposed low-density residential use.
