Outcome
JBS&G, a Geosyntec Company, provided occupational hygiene services over a period of 2 years, assessing, monitoring, and providing clearance certificates around the removal and replacement of asbestos-containing assets managed by Main Roads WA. The project involved proactive assessments and emergency response reactive work following accidents to maximise the safety of the maintenance and repair workforce and the broader community when interacting with asbestos in ground assets. Our practitioners also provided asbestos awareness training to large groups of maintenance workers to help in the management of asbestos during day-to-day operations.
