JBS&G, a Geosyntec Company, successfully implemented innovative fluidised bed reactor technology to remediate petroleum-hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater using locally available carbon source at the Hay Point port in Queensland. The firm received a BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) Environmental Excellence Award in 2008 to acknowledge the completion of the project on time and on budget.
