BAE Systems Australia, Williamstown Shipyard

We have been engaged by BAE Systems Australia (Maritime) to undertake multiple environmental due diligence investigations across its Williamstown Shipyard and nearby facilities at Fishermans Bend, Victoria. The Williamstown site has a long-established history of naval shipbuilding dating back to the 1850s. The objectives of the assessments have included contemporary establishment of the site contamination status of each facility and consolidation of many historical site investigation reports into meaningful overviews, summarising key site contamination issues and appropriate management and remediation options.
