BAE Systems Australia (BAE) engaged us to undertake multiple environmental due diligence assessments at sites in Osborne, South Australia, prior to BAE entering into lease agreements with Australian Naval Infrastructure. The sites were formerly subject to commercial and industrial development, including steel processing associated with shipbuilding on the Le Fevre Peninsula. The objective of the assessments was to establish the baseline site-contamination status of each site before occupation, and the assessments included a range of intrusive investigations targeting assessment of soil, groundwater, and soil vapour.
