David Reid is a Senior Principal Tailings Engineer based in Perth with more than 20 years of experience focused on tailings characterisation and modelling. As leader of the firm’s dedicated tailings testing facility, he specialises in the laboratory characterisation of tailings and conducts stability analyses and numerical modelling.
Mining clients benefit both from David’s combination of strong consulting and research experience and from his ability to distil findings and methods developed in academia for direct application to better characterise tailings. In addition, he supports large mining clients with peer review as they critically assess available information and analyses.
